My journey, my culture is a book bound with the Coptic Stitch technique that presents a collection of personal images of my own journey in the learning of the Chinese culture. When this small 3 in × 4 in book is opened, it transforms into 6 in × 4 in book to remind the size of a standard photo.

The cover is created out of scanned Chinese character (calligraphy). The images are placed in chronological order and the captions are placed at the end of each signature. The captions are accompanied with written and scanned Chinese characters, which are related to the images. The translation of each is written on its left. In addition, every center spread of the signatures can be lifted up to view an image in colour.
